Take a look at the posts below to see past performers at our first show. These stand-ups are all from Scottish universities and with a little bit if support and practice, have created their own stand-up sets.

On the back of sold out shows in Dundee and Aberdeen, we’re looking for confident people who want to share the upsides and downsides of their work with the public.

What a blast! Bright Club Dundee #1

Wow! We had a great night at the first ever Bright Club Dundee.

Thanks to our wonderful compere, Helen Keen, who made us all laugh with her battle cry of ‘Bring on the Boffins’! And all six performers had the sell out audience in palm of their hands.

We’ll be back with Bright Club Dundee #2 in the New Year, so keep an eye out for a notice here and on our Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Comedian Helen Keen hosts first Bright Club Dundee

We are very pleased to announce that the wonderfully funny Helen Keen will compere our first ever Bright Club Dundee on Tuesday 8th November.

We’re big fans of Helen since her performance of “The Primitive Methodist Guide to Arctic Survival” at last year’s Dundee Science Festival. You might have heard her adoringly quirky and offbeat “It is Rocket Science!” series that aired on Radio 4 in March 2011.

Helen will again be performing a gig of her new show “Robot Woman of the Future” at Dundee Science Festival on the same night and then hopping across the road to compere Bright Club!
